This Might Hurt a Little, The Truth Always Hurts

The truth always hurts. Especially when you are born in the world at the exact time to enjoy the economic shitshow made by boomers for your generation.

  1. Before the Orange Man Bad and Bob hate festival begins, can we talk about the CTV News story about the mysterious air craft that was shot down by a US fighter jet over the Yukon in Canada last February. The picture of the craft was cleared for release to the public but then it was held back. They said it could cause confusion. But the picture, grainy and black and white is still amazing. The shape of the craft is unique. Worth looking for and I’m not a big UFO gal. Okay, back to the never ending hate filled violent rhetoric from the Left. You know, the usual. Have a good day!

  2. Gen X is now the richest generation in history.

  3. And the most overworked. Neither boomers, millennials or Zs worked or work so many hours.

  4. Boomers failure was making later generations have expectations of what “should” be. It’s always funny to see the memes where people think boomers could afford a house, 2 cars and support a family of 5 on a 40 hour a week minimum wage job.
    The reality is, in the US, unless you are in the bottom 3% you are probably living better than all but the top 3% 100 years ago.

  5. Ok

  6. People think that boomers could afford a house, 2 cars and support a family of 5 on a 40 hour a week minimum wage job because it was a heck of a lot easier for them to afford all that than it is for anyone to afford all that today.

    That same house they bought for cheap was a great investment. That means it’s grown in value faster than the rate of inflation, and costs a lot more to buy now. (measured in ‘dollars’ or a lot more hours of work on a basic salary. )

    This doesn’t mean we have to hate on boomers. It’s not their fault they were born in a prosperous time. It does mean we shouldn’t hate on the young kids today because they haven’t been as successful. yet.

  7. Boomers paid attention to politics. Didn’t let them wreak things as they have now.

  8. Carousel is the only solution.

  9. No, Soylent Green for the final solution.

  10. That is why no one hates humans so much than parents. If they would like humans they would not make any new ones to leave them on this f***ed up planet.

  11. The first comment is Bob pretending to be a girl….creeeepy incel vibes there!

    But seriously ….keep your children away from republicans! You don’t want them to end up at Donald’s play house!

  12. “Boomers paid attention to politics. Didn’t let them wreak things as they have now.” Hint: It was the Bommer politics that ruined everything. They used up all resources, took all privileges and shift the responsibilities to GenX.

  13. Describe a boomer…..and a Gen x…..because everybody seems to have a different way of identifying generations!

  14. Boomers worked the overtime, took care of things themselves and often “did without”. People now are accustomed to things that would only be a fantasy 40 years ago. People fixed their own cars, mowed their lawns, lived without A/C, shared a car, didn’t upgrade to a 19 inch color TV until 1978 and on and on. Vacations, at best, were a 3 day car trip to the beach or your aunt’s house. People struggled far more than we do today. Today, if your Uber Eats McDonald’s breakfast requires you to actually step outside the door to grab it is “oppression”.

  15. Totally agree. Looking at my neighbors kids who can barely hold down a job no matter how simple. Want to stare at their phone all day and live in some gamer’s fantasy world. Can’t even make themselves a sandwich or push a lawnmower. Mom has to do it.

  16. Gen X works more overtime. Studies have shown that recently. Even the Millennials work more than the Boomers did. The story about the hard-working Boomers is a fairy tale. They weren’t as busy as they claim to be. They didn’t reach the productivity as follwing generation by far. Things took longer, communication was slower, less stress.
    Of course did people fix their own car. So did I until everything in a car became electronics and blackboxes. It’s not an accomplishment to fix old technology that was easy to fix. It’s also not an accomplisment to not have modern tech in the past. That doesn’t make any sense. Not every country uses as much A/C as the U.S. does. Nor do other countries have slave laws that grant 3 days vacation max.
    Women were often not allowed to work. No need for Uber Eats when Mom is confined to the kitchen.
    Gen X is the most independent generation. While Boomers had mom at home, Gen X children often had working parents. You got the key to the home and that’s it. Go home from school and make yourself something to eat. No SUV for appointments. Get yourself to the doctors. Buy yourself clothes. Lied to and abused by the boomers. Disillusioned by broken promises and the Boomers’ greed.
    Later Millennials were raised in the kindergardens. 24 hour care, anti-authoritarian education. A generation of egocentrics. Thinking the sun shines out of their b*tts because everyone told them how talented and accomplished they are. Bad narcissistic parents for Gen Z.
    Gen Z… neglected and useless.
    Gen α… needs life support.

  17. While the could go if they wanted to, many boomer men had no choice in being sent to war.

  18. Okay, what’s 2 + 2? I need to gauge everyone’s intelligence and see if we can’t pull the combined IQ on this website into the double digits!

  19. TRUMP!!!

  20. Listening or reading whiney people’s complaints about the high
    cost of living gives me the galloping trauts. Having the money to
    satisfying one’s urges is great, but you will hardly ever hear me
    bragging. Eating well, and doing as one pleases is reserved for
    the select few. Being one is nice, but it has problems attached.
    Charities by the hundreds try and guilt me into giving them my
    hard earned cash, and relatives, yes relatives are relentless.
    So stop the whining and consider problems had by others.

  21. Boomers: Well it’s your problem now. Some of us made it. We retired in a paid off house and a second home, also paid off, and we could careless about all the whining. You didn’t go to war. You weren’t there in the 70s when everything was hell. You didn’t lose half of the hard earned money you had managed to save up in the 2008 financial crisis when people lost jobs, homes and pensions. And we weren’t dumb enough to borrow the equivalent of a house to get degrees in women’s studies or underwater basket weaving when we were 18, ( you can thank Obama for that fiasco). We lived our lives as best we could and now it’s your turn to do the same. Suck it up buttercup.

  22. Please keep in mind not all boomers are americans. More people are not americans than americans are people.

  23. By squandering all their resources paying off your student loans…

  24. People who subscribe to the idea that something is your fault because of the year you were born…….are completel idiots!

    It demonstrates a complete lack of education!

  25. Yes. And complete indoctrination.

  26. The Democrat/Socialist indoctrination has worked. — Every problem people have is someone else’s fault. That lets them feel better about themselves and gives them an excuse not to not put much effort to improve themselves. Why bother? It’s that other guy’s fault! Meanwhile, the real cause of most of their dissatisfaction is staring at them in the mirror every morning.

  27. We know you are your parents’ fault, Bob. And they only had you because they believed conservative propaganda of the Bush era that condoms don’t work.

  28. Kinda like blaming Democrats and socialists for everything? Cause that’s what your doing muppet! Do you proof read your shit or just shake in anxiety while you hit the post comments button?

    Seriously you don’t even have to point out a republicans stupidity ……they do it all by themselves!

    Go bleach your blood kid….listen to trump!

  29. And swallow an UV bulb.

  30. I just ate my pet.
    Vote Trump!

  31. Bob has been eaten by his pet.

  32. Hi, Eatliver. Can you post something funny for a change?

  33. Funny for a change;
    Why did the cute fuzzy monkey fall out of the tree?

    pɐǝp sɐʍ ʇı ǝsnɐɔǝq

  34. Old people run the USSA, therefore old people are responsible for;

    * illegal immigration
    * fall of western civilization
    * heathenism
    * sexual deviancy
    * blaming other people

    Carousel is the only way.

  35. But which side holds the book?

  36. You guy’s need to step it up. Total yawn fest.

  37. Okay Bob, any other way youd like to mask your tears?

    Butt hurt Bob!

  38. You’d

  39. You’d*. You need to add the asterisk to denote a correction otherwise you look dumb, like you’re just posting a single word with no context!

    You should learn grammar if you’re going to correct it!

  40. Show us how to add an asterisk in your old posts, Bob. I dare you.
