The Male Guide To Washing Up

  1. Oh no. No real frying pan (cast iron, copper or stainless steel) should not be cleaned in this way. No soap, ever. Not sure why soap would be required ever for cleaning teflon pans.

    Wrong on all levels. -9000.

  2. What a BS. No real man would care to “place in hot soapy water”. We just toss it into the dishwasher and hope for the best.

  3. Place pan on lit stove, when hot enough to kill germs, add meat, cook in residue, refer to result as “artisanal cuisine”, over-charge customer.

  4. Clean the hard, sticking residue by hand afterwards – cursing.
    True.

  5. Cursing is an important part

  6. I throw my cast iron pots and pans in the wood stove. Then when I come home all I have to do is a light rinse to wash the ash off.
