  1. Sure, I’ll Shadowfax that right over… 🐎

  2. If you don’t know how to fax in 2021, you don’t deserve to have a computer.

  3. I haven’t used a fax since the early 1990’s. And telex even further back.
Using fax machines are similar to changing ribbons on a typewriter, something nobody gets taught or uses anymore.

If you still need a fax machine to send a fax, you don’t deserve to have a computer.

  6. That’s right

  7. You sweet simpletons who think that it’s just luddites who use faxes. Faxing is a more secure way to transmit private information and is used especially in the health fields to protect patient information. But you go in with you thinking you are edgy.

Secure? Do some more research on transport layer encryption!

There is no real encryption on faxes. Faxmachines are about as secure as a hand written letter send by a carrier pigeon. A fax send from a computer is not even protected by 128 bits, making it less secure than a standard SSL connection in your browser.

Health documents, tax returns etc you send online to authorities are protected by atleast 4096 bit encryption usually more. Normal email communication is today encrypted at 2048 bit.

If you need to send or recieve a fax today, you don’t belong in the 21st century.
