Easter Logic

Blessed Jesus, you have returned to us! In what meaningful way could we possibly honor your suffering, death and resurrection?

  1. NOPE. Christians adopted old traditions and eventually took them over and claimed them as there own.

Rabbits and eggs are ancient symbols of new life.
Many of the pagan customs associated with the celebration of spring eventually became absorbed within Christianity as symbols of the resurrection of Jesus. …

Most christian traditions are just adapted (or should I say stolen) from pagan religions. Think of the saints. They are just another representation of the old pantheon of sub-deities in which each one had a special duty.
Churches are often build over old temples and places of worship.

“…. and be sure that your children worship bunnies and candy instead of me!” It’ll be almost as great as Christmas.

  3. Yeah lets trash a children’s holiday during a pandemic! We’re soo much better then everyone else. Screw those kids! Do the make you people in a lab someplace or just find you under rocks? Oh but Islam is the best. Its so good we never, ever, ever say anything negative about it. Right?

  4. lighten up April 9, 2020

Actually, nobody is ‘trashing’ anyone or the kids.

It’s making a joke during a pandemic. I’d say jokes are a very good response personally. Gotta stay in a good mood during the quarantine.

  5. Any jokes about Islam ?
of course not, we are not phobic

    • What do you call a Muslim person standing between two buildings?

      Muhammad Alley

  6. Can we have some jokes about Muhammad? I didn’t think so.

    • There were two christian men, John and Mike, whose plane crashed into a desert. Luckily they survived unharmed. As they traveled through the hot desert looking for food and water, they gave up and sat down, thinking of what to do.
As the dust in the air settled, they suddenly could view a mosque ahead. They became very hopeful. But then John said ”Muslims are there. They might help us if we say we are Muslim.” Then Mike said ”No way, I won’t say I’m Muslim, I’m gonna be honest”.

So John and Mike went to the Mosque ahead and were greeted by an Arab Muslim, who asked what their names were.

John thought of a Muslim name and said, ‘My name is Muhammad’. And Mike said ‘My name is Mike’.

The Arab man said ‘Hello Mike.’ And told these other men to take Mike and give him food and drink.

Then he turned to John and said, ‘Salaam Muhammad. Ramadan Mubarak!

…………..yeah, I don’t get it either. Never celebrated Ramadan eh? We get more Christian jokes because we grew up celebrating Easter and Christmas (even though I’m not christian, but we get the days off and everybody celebrates in this country.) It’s a trade off. Christian holidays are a national holidays, we all celebrate, and sometimes we make jokes because we are all familiar with them. I’m sure you can live with it.

    • Why did Muhammad cross the road?

You should not question the prophet’s motives infidel!

Was that one any better? If it’s ok to laugh at another religion, then it’s ok if other people laugh at yours.

  7. Why do people say Jesus is coming back? April 10, 2020

Well it’s not like they nailed him to a boomerang

  8. I’m so ova this…

  9. What Jesus said “eggs”? This laid an egg.
