We’ve Moved a Few Things Around

Travel books are in the Fantasy section. Politics is in Sci-Fi and Epidemiology is in Self-Help. Good luck!

  1. Politics should be in history. It’s repeating itself.

  2. Do you know who this is describing?

“His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it. “

  3. History…..Like when one political party was losing power because of a demographic change to the voting population, so they changed the rules to keep the minorities from voting?

It’s Jim Crow all over again.

I.D. laws are not about preventing fraud. THERE IS NO FRAUD. Trump investigated it in 2017 and had Barr investigate in 2020. Both times they found nothing. He lost all his lawsuits for the same reason. No fraud. Elections were fair. It should be easy for everyone to vote.

  4. Didn’t know Canadians felt so strongly about their voter ID laws.

  5. Strange though, how the same people for whom it is unthinkable to suggest have a valid ID for voting, seem to have no trouble providing the same said ID to collect welfare benefits, stimulas checks and other big government handouts. 🤔

  6. Here in Europe you are just registered in the city you live in. You are automatically registered as a voter for regional and national elections. It’s hard to steal or fake an ID.
USA are the perfect country to disappear… or to make someone disappear and take his or her ID.
Yet people in Europe are happier and enjoy more freedom than Americans.

  7. As long as Communist Manifesto is in the Fiction or Fantasy section, this move is reality approved.

  8. “A free press is the enemy of the people!”*

“Fake news is the enemy of the people!” *

*These two statements are essentially the same. When there is a free press, they can print anything, even if it’s fake or has no evidence. Like birther conspiracies.

  9. how the communist party and the gop correlate is fascinating. Same for nazis. They are the same people. Your wannabe masters.

  10. How to tell if people get their news from Fox or the extreme right wing-

They think every minority or poor person is on welfare.

  11. In case you hadn’t figured it out yet. That quote from above is not describing Trump. Sounds a lot like him though, eh?
Nope, that’s how the CIA described Hitler’s “big lie” technique. (google it. Wikipedia has more. ) If you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it. That’s why some people believe the election was stolen. If you are one of those, please wake up. Follow the evidence and the rule of law. United we stand, divided we’ll fall.

  12. Many minorities and poor people are forced into poverty and welfare by the same people that blame them for it. Old story, new players.
