Lisa who’s also known as @ostdrossel on Instagram has always been fascinated by nature and different bird types. So she came up with a great idea: she uses a bird feeder cam, which consists of a camera box, a macro lens, and an attachable bird feeding platform. The camera is tiny and equipped with a motion sensor so that when a bird comes to eat, it photographs birds a non-intrusive way. Scroll down to see the best pictures!

The best one is number.. heavy sigh.
I like how the Raven? (or whatever that bird is called in english) in picture number 2 only picked the white nuts. Not trying to start a debate about colour. Or nuts. But I found it cool and funny how that bird only went for a stack of one type and rhen arranged it neatly in its beak.

PS In danish a blackbird would translate to ‘sunblack’ (solsort). We also have a city called Middelfart. And an island called Lolland. Danish is just the greatest language in europe, really.

Cannot really believe that there is this much of a variety of birds in the vicinity, even if regarding the seasons…these are feeders from different regions imho. Still gorgeous to look at! Livecam link would be appreciated.
Can’t believe there is that much variety? Try my bird feeder. I have all kinds of birds even today. Doves blackbirds crows tits cardinals and bluejays for a start. And of course squirrels :)
We get occasional oreoles and other birds. Last year the red winged blackbirds invaded en masse for a short time. Occasional egrets storks and sand hill cranes will eat at the ground feeding station.
Put up a bird feeder and be surprised and delighted. Oh yes we get hummingbirds too
