  1. And?

I think it is a normal cycle.
People are already so exhausted of fake news and media exaggerations, that truthful depiction from aside is now becoming more attractive.
What would you rather watch – YET ANOTHER suppsoedly big protest and reporter among them
    or
A reporter standing on side of some protest that looks laughably small in the everyday life.

I definitely rather enjoy the latter nowadays. It’s more entertaining to watch.

    • So you don’t care about truth, only about entertainment?

    • Read and und erstand, again LandLord.

    • The Today show reporter in a canoe is hysterical.

    • The problem is the US media are mostly defined by entertainment these days. Like the US justice system – best entertaining laywer gets the jury – and US politics – reality show host is president.
This is seeping into other countries pesting media and societies.
It makes people stupid, facts forgetable and the “truth” unreliable.
America is the reason for the world wide nationalism crisis. And Putin understood how to use it for his advantage.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

  3. I have to voice my political thoughts. Where’s the best place to do it? Where would it be most powerful? Oh, I know! AN INTERNET COMEDY SITE! That will swing the vote!

If you/we are contributors to EatLiver and other such sites allowing viewer comments that are nonsensical or strongly black and white on issues that you/we pretend to understand, you/we are part and parcel of the encouragement and acceptance of media’s intentional obfuscation.

  5. This is all Trump his fault

manipulation shown here is all about fixing photos…what we are truly concerned with is truth in journalism reports…too many people get their news these days from social media. there still are many honorable and decent papers to go to. Just make sure you go to a variety so as to have a check on any given story
