  1. It is how you train it. Unfortunately, too many of them are trained to fight, which causues the stereotyping of the these breeds. When they are raised properly they can make great pets and be as gentle as any other breed.

  2. That is a boob too far.

  3. See! This proves they’re misunderstood.

  4. my husband rescued a pit puppy 2 months ago; the poor thing was nearly starved to dead. we brought him back to health and now bruce wayne (the dog) can’t be more loving. he loves EVERYBODY, especially the two of us.
if you give love, you always get it back.

  5. American staffordshire terriers are great dogs. It’s too bad so many are trained to be pit bulls- dogs raised to be thrown in a pit and fight to the death.

  6. Ugh! I’ve been kissed by a dog! I have dog germs! Get hot water! Get some disinfectant! Get some Iodine!

  7. hahaha :D

  8. Yep, that’s every pit bull I have ever met.

  9. ROFL

  10. My rescued pitter, Rosie, is the most loving dog I have ever had. (Had 3 spaniels, and 2 labs as an adult). She “attacks” me for hugs when I am busy on my ipad on bench at kitchen table. Sticks her nose under my arm pIt until I give her kisses back. She is hysterically funny. Great sense of humor. Best breed ever. I have decided the name “pit” comes from the fact she is always sticking her nose under my arm pit, while vying for my attention. She is always “visciously” in need of my attention.

  11. We always say “if raised properly” in respect to Pits. I think this is true of any pet and kids too!

  12. I think you’re right. lol

  13. Love your dog. They get a bad rap from people people who have teased and abused them. I have never met a mean one yet!
