    • Actually, I’ve only worked with Treponema Once or twice (mostly for dark phase microscopy practice) and Neisseria a few times as well. A little with T-4 but a lot more experience with lambda phage libraries. Don’t forget the maltose with lambda.

    • I think it represents the surface of the small intestine.

  6. These are for fun and are popular in the scientific (bacteriology) world. I used to work for a laboratory and when I left they gave me an acidophilus ‘toy’ as a light-hearted present because we had been working on how bacteria act in the digestive system.

  7. I gotthe common cold from my now wife many years ago. The plush version of course. Possibly the real version too from time to time…
