Photographer Captures The Worst (Best?) Mullets From Australian Mullet Festival

You might think that the notorious mullet is a thing of the 1980s, but you would be wrong. Turns out each year there’s a MulletFest taking place in the small town of Kurri Kurri in Australia, so photographer Craig Gibson went Down Under to capture the best (worst?) contestants. Scroll down and enjoy!

  1. To bad they said Australia huh. If they had not, it would be nothing but endless anti American BS.

  2. Mullets were used in all parts of the world during the centuries. A mullet can have advantages. Like keeping the front hair out of the eyes and providing warmth or sun protection for the neck.
Considering the big hole in the ozone layer America (Thomas Midgley of General Motors) gave the rest of the world at the South pole the Australians might even benefit from a mullet. Style desaster or not. No bigger desaster than the US of A to the planet.

  5. English writes it wrong. He might not be a native speaker. In other languages it’s desaster. It derives from French: désastre.

  6. Still owned, grammar nazi.

  8. Hehe, clever one.

  9. Correct spelling is a social construct like biology and gender. It’s racist to enforce correct spelling. It’s part of the patriarchy!
