Many Scandinavians and certainly most Danes dating a German wouldn’t use English, but rather use German.
Well, the Danes maybe, right, I give you that. Most Norwegians and Finish I’ve met preferred English over German, though.
Anyway, the definition for Scandinavia does not always include Denmark. Geographically Denmark is not part of Scandinavia.
