Local Gas Station Makes Whole Town Laugh With Their Hilarious Signs

If you were looking for a sign, look no further: Wallingford Sign is the one. Each week it provides you a new joke, pun, or a witty observation. This funny initiative was started by Seattle Propane at Wallingford Chevron in 2005 and is still ongoing. The owners say, that it had always been easy to think of useful messages to put on the sign for things like service promotions and store specials and the like, but they wanted to do something better with it. And so they did. Scroll down to see the best examples.

  4. Most of those are quite funny. The one about U.K. websites got me to wondering, though. If they don’t HAVE edible “cookies,” does the online term seem weird to them?

  5. We DO have edible cookies. Cookies are softer than biscuits, and traditionally were home made.

  6. I think “scones” would be a better term.
