Famous Paintings Recreated by Bored Coworkers

Two bored coworkers – Chris and Francesco – use their breaks to recreate famous paintings. All photos are made and edited on their phones, and all props are found at the office. They call this project “Fools Do Art“.

“Self portrait 19″ by Rembrandt Van Rijn
One of the rare paintings where the painted subject is laughing brightly. In fact most of the subjects in historical paintings have their mouth closed and are just smiling. This is not due to their lesser sense of humor, but rather owned to the circumstance that dental care was unknown by that time…

    • In reality, it had little to do with self-consciousness about dental care and much to do with the fact that holding a convincing smile for hours on end starts to really cramp the facial muscles, and that’s how long you need to sit still while having your portrait painted. *The More You Know*

  3. Why do they have a horse head and a bear suit in office?

  4. This is amusing…why?

  5. Fire those guys, for wasting my time with these completely unfunny pics.

I’ve seen saw much self absorbed narcissism on Facebook that nothing impresses me anymore. However, your self absorbed narcissism is hilarious! I’d love to be one of your co-workers. If I was your boss I’d fire both of you but just hanging out would be awesome.

  7. I think you guys are awesome!
