  1. Leaving the EU on WTO isn’t a unicorn, it’s a reasonable thing to ask. The EU just want to keep the UK as a cash cow, paying money for the honour of losing billions every year in trade, and from being cut off from the WTO and UK’s own commonwealth via EU tariffs, while the EU takes nearly all of the UK’s fish while limiting the hell of the UK’s fishing in the EU.

The UK have to ask for a deal, the EU have given a bad deal, so now we’ve tried and we work out how to hard brexit.

  2. The UK asked for and got special treatment for ages from the rest of the EU. Time and again. And now, for the first time ever (possibly) the EU doesn’t want to be screwed by the UK yet again. Why should the UK get better terms for trading with the EU than say Norway?

Your empire is long gone! You are just one country out of many. Deal with it. Try your cherry picking with Mr. Trump.

  4. If you think exiting a union is like a unicorn in any way, you also may think the earth is flat or that it came into existence on its own.

  5. Russians ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  6. Not only brits want a unicorn, but it has to be gold plated in fluent in Greek. Also they want to destroy Ireland. Just because why not.

  7. No, Anonymous, you don’t seem to get the point of the joke at all. Not the Brexit is the unicorn, what the UK is for within the exiting process, that is like asking for a unicorn. Well, asking for the Brexit is a bit like wishing for a flat earth, I would like to think.

  8. So many false statements. Where to begin?

    • “Leaving the EU on WTO isn’t a unicorn, it’s a reasonable thing to ask.”
It is. Not very smart economically and politically, but reasonable, yes. Everyone has the right to isolate himself from the world. Even the British. And membership was never forced on the UK.

    • “The EU just want to keep the UK as a cash cow, paying money for the honour of losing billions every year in trade, ”
The EU pumped billions into the british economy. Bad British trade is basicly the result of overaged infrastructure and industry plus failed ability to do business. A weakend middle class does the rest. Without the EU-money many UK industries would already be out of business.

    • “and from being cut off from the WTO and UK’s own commonwealth via EU tariffs, ”
EU-trade agreements with the most important markets are usually the best in the world. Maximized profit, even for Britain. The commonwealth isn’t as productive. Plus many commonwealth countries won’t let themselves sucked out by the vampire England anymore. Even the commonwealth countries refused to negotiate new tariffs with Britain before brexit. They all wait till Britain is on the ground and vunerable. Without the the EU-domestic market many UK industries would already be out of business.

while the EU takes nearly all of the UK’s fish while limiting the hell of the UK’s fishing in the EU.
Till today UK has the second biggest catch quota for fish in the EU. The UK goverment decided to distribute the quota mostly to the large companies. Not much left for the small fishermen. Profits for the big companies have been growing all along. You’re barking the wrong tree.
The UK would actually win in case of a hard brexit concering the fishing ground. Though it is doubtfull the struggling fisherman that voted for “leave” would gain any profit from that as long a the UK’s policy in licencing won’t change.

    • “The UK have to ask for a deal, the EU have given a bad deal, so now we’ve tried and we work out how to hard brexit.”
The EU didn’t “give” a deal. It was negotiated between the EU and the UK. EU agreed to the terms, UK agreed to the terms and both signed the result. Even the “evil” backstop was a British idea. Do you really expected the EU would let Britain go without any compensation? “All right UK, there you go. We’ll take the bill.” That would be a stupid thing to do. As said: membership was never forced on the UK.

  9. The amazing part is Europeans think they have a voice and are free people when their eu mps do not create legislation, they merely rubber stamp it as it’s handed to them by unelected globalist kleptocrat billionaires from above. In former times this rubber stamping of totalitarian dreck spewed by sociopathic kleptocrats would be called a soviet union, but today its called the democratic eu.

    lol

  10. You could learn so much about this world if you just leave your American hills for once in your life. Real stuff.

  11. If Isis kidnapped John Bercow and Sounbry and beheaded them, I’d send them a tenner.

  12. …and that comment makes you a flaming a-hol3

  13. Josh is right, the European Parliament doesn’t propose legislation, that’s the job of the European Commission. European Bob needs to study the 7 Institutions of the European Union. If he did he would realize that the democratically elected part of the EU possesses very little power.

  14. I will tell you,as a Texan that we are just waiting for the UK to regain its independence and the amount of trade that we Are waiting do with them is going to astound you continental European ingrate, Pusillanimous jackasses. The UK are the only ones that deserve it. And we want nothing to do with you European morons. We still have this thing called common sense.

  15. But the Council (constituted from Ministers of the Member States) and the Commission (constituted by Commissioners chosen by the Member States and approved by the Parliament) have nothing to do with democracy, right?

  16. Right, the globalist sociopathic billionaire kleptocrats democracy ensures only fellow globalist sociopath kleptocrat billionaires make it into the council and commission and thus craft legislation only of benefit to globalist sociopathic billionaire kleptocrats…. that the mps directly elected by the actual people of the eu get to “vote” on. It’s all done in the name of the people and democracy, not to impoverish entire nations with massive imf debt that can only be repaid with their remaining sovereignty and natural resources.

  17. So, no difference to your family’s Christmas dinner.

  18. So you might think. Or at least try.

  19. lol Americans explaining the EU. We all know your geographic competence to well…

  20. UK has always had it’s independence. It was never forced to become an EU member. They did that themselves in hope of easy money. They got cherry pickings the whole time. Didn’t even had to pay the whole membership fee.
You are still living in the 19th century. You have no common sense.
Don’t trust the British. They will rip you off and steal Texas from you like you stole it from the Mexicans.

  21. Everybody’s a comedian these days.

  22. This didn’t age well!
