    • You can thank all those antimaskers and antivaxxers for that. They are the ones spreading the virus far and wide and hatching new mutations.

    • As much as I have taken the vaccine and i recommend that if there’s no good reason why you shouldn’t like religious / allergic etc, i do agree with some of the comments here that it is a human right to refuse medical treatment.

However, at the same time it’s not a human right to deliberately infect others with a disease. People have been jailed for that in the past, and i don’t see why this pandemic should be any different. Consequently, it’s natural that there will be certain minor limitations on what the unvaccinated can do.

Remember when “science” told everyone in the 1950s that they’d survive nukes with gas masks and duck and cover drills?
Or when science told everyone to drink ‘Uranium Water’ to be healthy?
Science has been wrong more often than it has been right.

      3
      1
  2. That’s a lot of snow

  3. These “vaccines” are dangerous frauds. There is NO difference in death rates between unvaxxed and vaxxed. In fact, the vaxxed are more likely to lead to variations/mutations of the disease, as is the nature of the science (nature always finds a way to get around artificial barriers).

Any – ANY – statement to the contrary…see anon 1…is poitical propaganda and/or ignorance and fear.

    • Anonymous #1 is correct. Irregardless, I’d wager that you’re vaccinated already and just enjoy getting off on the attention you’re getting. Enjoy!

    • No difference in death rates? Are you living in a cave with nothing but fake news?

The un-vaxed are the ones dying right now. 98.7% of deaths are the unvaccinated. Google it.

When most everyone is vaccinated, the virus won’t be able to spread. That’s why we’ve almost completely eliminated measles, chicken pox, polio, Tetanas, Hepatitus A/B, Whooping cough, Mumps, and Diphtheria. If what you claimed about mutations were true, then all those diseases would be much, much worse by now instead of non threats.

      6
      2
    • No that’s not true, the science clearly shows that there’s a huge difference in mortality between vaccinated and unvaccinated. That’s not ignorance; it’s ignorance to claim otherwise, the evidence is overwhelming at this point.

      5
      2
  4. You are a very dangerous fraud. There is vast amounts of evidence that vaccinated people are far less likely to catch covid and if they do the effects are far less severe. Mutations are far more likely when people are unvaccinated.
If your comments lead to people refusing the vaccine and dying as a result, you are directly responsible for their deaths!
You’re the one displaying ignorance and fear.

Vaccines cause variants. The virus doesn’t mutate to become more deadly, just more contagious. If no one got the vax covid wouldn’t need to mutate.

    • Tested negative for a year and a half practicing common sense of proven techniques, wash your hands, keep fingers away from eyes, etc. Do the same thing every flu season and haven’t gotten sick. Why should I take a still experimental vaccine? Does that make me a murderer?

  5. @John
No Anonymous is very very wrong!
His and your anti-vax beliefs are the major reason why covid is running riot in the USA.
Yes, I’m double vaccinated because I know that covid exists and that the vaccines are the only real way to fight it..
And before you comment that I don’t understand the facts, I have four science degrees including a PhD so I understand the science behind this. What qualifications do you have (if any) in this area?

    7
    3
    • I bet John’s Dunning-Kruger-Degree is much stronger than your PhD. You wasted your life learning woke science facts. He went to Qanon university.

      3
      3
    • Indeed, I work in shared laboratory spaces with people who literally work on things used in medicines and vaccines, literally everyone has taken the shot. These are the people who literally understanding how this stuff works, and some of them have phds in this topic.

If there was something harmful about the vaccine, they’d be the first to refuse to take the vaccine.

      4

    • Have You Considered? August 20, 2021

PhD holders are the most hesitant group to be vaccinated. The smarter you are the less inclinded you are to being vaccinated.

    • Big deal. A lot of “educated” persons as yourself deny peer reviewed studies that challenge the narrative and the science you are pushing.

  6. But… what your up coming election? Why no mention, at all?

    • This is no news site. This is a meme site. Some people don’t know the difference.

  7. Once the jabs effectiveness falls off, approximately 4-6 months, the vaccinated are able to contract and spread the virus 🦠. Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, has published multiple papers on this. Break through cases and deaths are being reported daily. All this “murderers” drama queen garbage is not helping anyone but the trolls.

    6
    5
    • Some people die in car crashes despite wearing their safety belt. Let’s abolish safety belts.

      7
      3
    • Contract and spread in minimal amounts. But not die of it, no need for ventilators, low infectivity. Not like unvaccinated people. Those are he ones perishing gasping for air, hooked to ventialors that can’t help them because their lungs just die off, speading new mutation that bread in their bodies.
The high numbers in Israel were people that had only one dose of the vaccine. Those were not by definition vaccinated people. It needs two doses, except for the J&J vaccine. Better read the papers yourself instead of believing professional liers on far-right fake news sites. Those with full vaccinations only have light infections. The new wave came thanks to the delta variant. Bread by antivaxxers and non-maskers. It’s more infectious and don’t need medical help. Also many new infections are unvaccinated children. Like in the US right now.

      6
      3
    • “Those with full vaccinations only have light infections and don’t need medical help.”
This is the correct version. I have no idea what happened to the editor window in the post before.

    • No, this is a confabulation of a load of half truths. The history of this is as follows:

      1) When the vaccines were produced, the pharma companies recommended 3-4 weeks gap between vaccines.

      2) During brexit, here in the UK we were afraid that the EU would cut off our medicine supplies, so we did studies on what would happen if we gave everyone a first shot, to provide basic coverage, and reduce deaths and hospitalisations, and then give the second shot later.

      3) During the studies, we found that actually if you extend the gap between vaccines from 3-4 weeks to about 8-9 weeks, the vaccines offer better and longer lasting protection.

      4) The UK shared these scientific findings internationally, and many countries in the EU and other places like Canada etc, did their own studies and found the same.

      5) Some countries like Isreal and USA chose not to extend the gap, either because they wanted to play it safe and go with the manufacturers recommendations, or because they wanted to get everyone double vaccinated asap, even if there’s not such long lasting protection.

      6) As Isreal is one of the most vaccinated populations in the world they did studies showing that the effectiveness of the vaccine wanes over time.

      7) The UK checked against our population and we didn’t find the same thing.

      8) The obvious difference is that the longevity of the protection is due to the spacing of the vaccines, as there’s very few other things that could explain the difference between the UK and Isreali data.

So what you’re saying is a half truth, and by cherry picking the information to suit your narrative, you’re actually intentionally misleading people.

    • Nice try to falsify history. Big tradition in Brexitland. Still wondering why everyone hates you? Because you tried to enslave everyone and suck the last drop of blood from them. Even your neighbours on your own inbreed island. Why does no one love the English with their polite sense of superiority. The glorious empire of… insignificance. You and your idiot leader Minitrump spread the delta variant from India to all of us. I hope that island will starve.

    • I don’t care much for Canada to be honest. Why the fixation on that country? It’s safer, healthier and a better democracy than the US. Is it envy from your side?

  9. @ Anonymous & Dunning Kruger: I believe you’ve both grossly misunderstood my comment. I was pointing out that the first post at the top was absolutely correct about the anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers causing this new spike in the Delta variant infections and that has once again stretched our medical resources dangerously thin and that the anonymous poster was simply a troll – probably vaccinated – just enjoying the attention from their comment.
It sickens me to see so many people believe that this virus is fake or harmless, vaccines are deadly, and masking is ineffective or detrimental to their health or freedom. People can spew false data or facts, claiming to be “woke” all they want, but they’re wrong. Usually, they realize this when they or someone they love is hospitalized or dies from it. I have no Ph.D. nor the ever-popular Dunning-Kreuger degree. What I do have is real-world experience and education the qualifies me to deal with these patients in close proximity, manipulating their ventilator settings with dangerously high pressures in hopes of diffusing oxygen across their damaged alveolar membranes, transporting them to other hospitals capable of ECMO, and feeling hopeless rather than optimistic about their prognosis. Some are so fragile that even disturbing them can cause hypoxic events that take hours to correct. As someone with four science degrees and a Ph.D., you may be already aware of that environment and its associated pathologies…to name a few. I’m double vaccinated as well and wear masks on and off duty and so far, it’s worked for myself and my family. Everyone else who doesn’t believe this is real are moving targets that will eventually get it and possibly pay the ultimate price.

  10. What does any of this have to do with Justine’s re-election. We all must get out the vote. This is going to be a tight race and with Socks, I’m mean Justine being convicted for being a crook twice, and a third time coming, we have to get out there and silence, cancel and FORCE Canadians to vote for him. Hail Justine! Hail Justine!

    2
    4
    • At least he aknowlesges elections. Crooked rapist Trump just declared himself winner before the election even began. Looks like democracy is working better in Canada. No that the GOP is restricting free US citizens from voting Trump can be the Führer he always wanted to be after the next election. The second he will have stolen. Americas eagle will soon sit over an orange swastika.

      4

  11. Who is this Justine people keep yapping about?

    • Don’t worry. It’s just a pathetic Trump head that can’t handle any criticism of the USA. He keeps trying to change the topic to Canada and Trudeau. He actually thinks that if he says dumb stuff about Canada, it will somehow make people stop talking about Trump.

Sorry dude, as long as Trump is around threatening the rule of law and undermining democracy by saying the the election was stolen, we’re going to keep talking about his B.S. There were more recounts and lawsuits confirming the election than any other in history. Nothing was stolen and we don’t need big government adding more regulations on our right to vote. If Trump goes away, I would gladly stop talking about him.

      4
      1
    • All of us would. Even us foreigners. But as long as he has the GOP in his pocket he’s a threat. Not only to America, to the whole world. He did much damage in his 4 years of idiocracy. We are still handling the aftermath.

  12. One thing to say – –
All you anti vax medical experts: Where did you get your medical degree? Facebook School of Medicine, I’ll wager. With a specialty in epidemiology (look it up – on facebook of course) from the TIDC (Twitter Institute of Disease Control).

    Second thing to say:
Fake news sad. MACA!! (make america covfefe again).

    • Despite some breakthrough cases and yes some breakthrough deaths i think its obvious that getting vaccinated greatly reduces the chance of getting covid. However… masks dont work unless its a n95 mask which Noone has. Both logic and real world studies have shown this. Wearing a porous mask to keep out covid is like putting up a chain link fence to keep out mosquitos. Furthermore a recent study done by Louisville University compared the spread of covid in places that had strict, loose, and no mask mandates and found no difference in contagion rates. Wear a mask if it makes you feel safe but be aware that it doesn’t replace social distancing and basic cleanliness.

    • Get vaccinated. Better than any mask.

      2

  13. What do you do when you get the Covid?
Not getting shots like the othe folks did.
You will die or get terribly sick.
All ’cause your head is so incredibly thick.
Don’t you hate the sound of that?

    Oompa loompa doompety da…

  14. Last I checked the vaccines aren’t working and a third and possibly fourth jab was coming soon. Once your vaxxed you will be getting a jab every 6 to 8 months. For life. Big $ for big pharma. Way to go people.

  15. Some of the best information on the vaccines is coming out of Canada and Israel. You should educate yourself on these pro or con.

    • You can see the effects worldwide. In basicly all ICUs over the world all patients are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated.
There are no vaccinated people in hospitals. (Except for a few whose immune system has been compromised before. Vaccines can’t help such patients. Only other people wearing masks and getting vaccinated to reduce their infectivity. You may contract the virus even if you are vaccinated. But you won’t end up on a ventilator and reduce your distribution of viruses immensely.
That’s why antivaxxers and antimaskers are murderers. It like running around with a machine gun firing blindly around you in all directions because “freedom”. Your right for freedom ends when it kills others.

  16. Anon with immunity September 12, 2021

Stop getting your news from Yahoo.

  17. Get’s all their news from Yahoo.

  18. Remember “if you get the vaccine, you have immunity”. I’d ask you to read a little deeper, but it would task your limited attention span.
