Parents Post That Sad Moment Their Kids Go Back To School

While kids are not always excited to go back to school, for some reason parents do not share that feeling. One might say that they are even happy about it…

  1. talk about childhood trauma

  2. Yeah, the kids are between the hammer and the anvil. On one side, school is torture. It’s designed to drain the joy out of life. On the other, their parents are ecstatic to send their offspring away from home. Feel the love…

It’s supposed to be a joke, I know. It’s not funny. The parents will not find it funny, if the kids joke that they will jump in the air when shipping their elderly parents to retirement homes.

  3. All these parents are excited they can cancel their Planet Fitness contracts and go back to hooking up with their side piece at home again.

  4. This photo series is achingly sad. The parents obviously think they’re funny, but are oblivious to their own cruelty. The faces of the parents are manic and maniacal. The children are obviously used to this kind of humiliation. Many of them pictured here have expressions of abject misery and are obviously barely holding back tears. Other children just look like they died inside years ago. This post makes me want to cry.

  5. In short, Americans.

  6. Typical sit-at-home moms. Now they can eat thier chocolates and take naps and still not have supper ready when their husbands get home after a day of supporting their fat parasitic asses.
No idea why the dads would be in the pictures other than they were told to.

  7. You all are kidding right? The kids were playing along with those dramatic sad faces.

  8. Society shames women to get a job and “neglects their children”.
Society shames sit-at-home moms for not having a job.
Society still strong at keeping women under the boot.

  9. Do not destroy fake opinions.

  10. Actually, the kids joking about putting the parents into retirement homes would be funny. I’m sure it’s already been done. I agree with you about how schools suck the life out of students and indoctrinate them to obey.

  11. The only one that seemed humorous to me, and where the kids didn’t seem humiliated or ashamed, was the one of the father pushing the kids into the van. I know this is all about humor, but kids should feel like they are wanted at home, and not something to get rid of. I hope they all saw it as a joke…

  12. FFS IT’S A JOKE JOYCE!!!!!!!

  13. This appears to be a white people problem?

  14. Get over yourself. The parents may seem to be happy and the children may seem sad, but now comes the cost of clothing, school supplies, making them get up and ready, taking them to various after school functions. For the children it can be a release from constant contact with parents who don’t understand and a rejoining others of their age for continued interpersonal learning relationships. It’s a win-lose on both sides. You need lessons in satire and irony and exaggeration. Go have a cry over really important things (probably political).

  15. Hey dRb – If you think kids are so stupid they don’t recognize and participate in “put on” and “making funny pictures,” you must not have any kids. Maybe your gold fish don’t have a sense of humor, but then gold fish have no usable brain much like….

  16. Hey Comic, you don’t think this might be one of those “color blind” situations in life, something universal to kids and parents world-wide? Where you from, the North Pole?

  17. The parents, obviously, told the kids to look sad,mad etc…. some are just embarrassed 😂😂😂😂😂No harm done, most kids have a stronger sense of self esteem and good sense of humor than you think they do😊😊😊👍👍

  18. Sit at home moms?!? Are you out of your mind. These moms have a much harder job than the ones that hire nanny’s and go to work everyday! You try staying at home. And husband for your dinner. Omg

  19. They should show the teachers’ perspective, too.

  20. Yeah, but they always come back. Kids, cockroaches, herpes, same thing. They always come back. Nothing gets rid of them.
