To get dressed & go to work instead of cleaning up shitty diapers & washing dishes all day.

The only people who think that way have never done it. Im a married man, and I work 40-60 a week and I can guarantee my life is a million times easier than my wifes, who stays home all day.

I guess this is a picture from the 1970's. Oh, how narrow minded we used to be.

There's food for thought buried in this nostalgia. A large percentage of married men COULD support themselves & wife & children on one income. Now most "families" believe, probably correctly, that they need at least two incomes. Current standards of living aren't much higher, considering two incomes and productivity gains. What factors contribute to the discrepancy?
