she not trolling...but the simoly answer depends on your belief...if you she is a christian that looks for biblical explanation then simply the flood wiped out all those dinosaurs and the 2 of each kind from the arc died off after ward....if she a christian who is more believes in what bible stands for and the new testament then when the earth was made in 7 days ...nobody knows how long 7 days is to God...
(btw the dates the scientists come up with for how old the dinosaurs were are based on theory...it would only take one disocovery to prove all of it wrong...)(i have my personal opinion but just wanted to point out that fact)
facepalm though she asking some website...

Re: Unknowledgable person (Friday, 2 Nov 2012)
Can't carbon date dinosaur bones, carbon dating only can go back about 60,000 years. They usually date the bones by determining how old the rock they were found in is. Still, it's good science and fossilized bones can definitely be dated tens of millions of years ago. Even if they couldn't, radiocarbon dating still proves that humans have been around for far longer then the ~6000 years that some creationists believe, so it's a valid point.

Please please understand that a Theory in scientific terms is a Hypothesis that has undergone proof and sufficiently challenged with empirical data. As such it is based on theory, the facts (empirical data)show what id hypothesised is true within the limits of science. The teachings of religion have not undergone any proof, as such they must stand as a mere hypothesis. Hypothesis does not have the same standing as a theory.

You don't 'believe' in science. Faith is based on a belief in things you can neither prove nor disprove (religion is an external display of faith). Science is another matter altogether - it is a method o0f understanding material reality through explanation experiment. Science and faith (in its religious sense) do not oppose each other. They don't even overlap.

This is yet another case of someone who doesn't actually take the time to read AND understand the Bible. It doesn't say the Earth is only 6,000 years old. And the Bible doesn't mention every single event in history (maybe the Mayans never existed, either?), so you can't base your entire life view on the Bible. Science does a nice job, too. They go hand in hand. This children of this woman will grow up damaged.
LogiC (Friday, 2 Nov 2012)
It's the new, weird American Christianity cult. Instead of learning from the Bible they ignore everything it says to do and just push all the important stuff onto others. The Bible isn't about the world being 6000 years old or whatever rubbish it says, it is about living right, treating others with respect and being a good citizen, with some hope dashed in there too. I am worried, the level of stupid in the US is reaching dangerous levels and those people are starting to rise to the top.

This is the result of people not studying and understanding the Bible and Christianity. Those who do, understand that some parts of the Bible are literal while others are not. They also understand that the Bible isn't a laundry list of everything ever created (and with timelines, geesh). Every group has it's share of ignorant folk among them. She be's one.

Science is real, God is real. The Bible is a mixed bag that should not be taken so literally. Just like science, have faith in your theory until you can prove it. I have proof from God through spiritual experiences. People Box themselves in with "religion"

I oh so love it when athiests try and embarras us Christians by posting clearly fake messages like this... NOT! And by the way, this isn't even what the Bible says. While it's true that the Earth was created around 6000 years ago (we know this because of DOCUMENTED geneology tracing back to Adam and Eve), but of course we beleive in dinosuars. We just don't beleive in carbon dating (seriuosly, you honestly beleive scientist can tell if something is a billion years old? How stupid can some people be!). Dinosaurs did indeed exist, they were simply whiped out by the great flood (that even scientist have to admit is real because of proof like the grand canyon). I pray for people like you to open you're heart to the lord before the rapture, and from the looks of things is not far behind. God bless.

For those of you not familiar with "Christian speak", the term "I'll pray for you" means they'll pray for your speedy demise and express trip to hell...when they say "bless you", they mean "go **** yourself". Carbon dating a Christian's brain shows most have been fossilized for centuries. Just to show no hard feelings, I'll pray for all you Christians! Bless you!

This is obvious trolling, but there actually are people who think that way. And that's fine. I really can't give a flying **** about what other people think. It's their life, their choice, their problem. I'm surprised that there are countries where this is the big issue. The only problem that bothers me is that such people give Christians a bad name. Literal interpretation of the Holy Scripture is strictly a hardline Protestant schtick, unknown among most Christians and completely alien to, say, Roman and National Catholics.
