Because, as they become more extreme & more conservative, they tend to lose honest elections where the people's votes are actually counted in full. Why do you think the GOP has launched their campaign to restrict voting rights under the guise of non-existent "voter fraud"?

Judging by the quotes we've been hearing from some of the Republican candidates (i.e. rape, aircraft windows, etc), I'd say they were pre-school failures.

Exactly, I understand the need for a good leader and a balanced economic system; but as a 13 year old even I understand the need to keep a check on all systems of the United States. I am an American and I completely agree with democracy, but at the point where people begin to become violent and seek to slander each other socially is where democracy becomes just another country of dictatorship almost.
