See, now a true fatty from MERICA!, would know that this was a poor attempt at deep frying. That batter is total crap. A good batter will cover every detail of what delectable treat that it covers, allowing the connoisseur to delight at the warm treat hiding withing the center of corn or flour and butter mixture... The fact that I can clearly see the items contained within the batter, that my friends is a FRENCH cooking technique. I'm'a just saying :)
