i kinda feel sorry for people losing money on piracy but if you had a choice between getting something for free or paying for it, whats the obvious choice!??!?!

Ahahaha, silly people who think that piracy can be justified. So, so misguided. That, or they hate everyone except themselves.
Goodbye.

Piracy may not be 100% moral but there is a strong argument for it.
If your friend came to and said he has a machine that can make an exact copy of a hamburger, or a beer, or a car, or anything you want, can you honestly say you wouldn't take a lifetimes supply of hamburgers, beer and cars... for free. Almost everybody would say yes in a flash, Music piracy is no different.
And besides, the only artists it hurts are the multi-millionaires anyways, free distribution of music helps the little guys, share the wealth I say.

I don't think "intellectual property" can be justified, I don't think spying on what information people transfer on their computers is justified and I definitely don't think making poor people pay millions of money that they don't have to corporations because they made some copies can be justified in any way. Good day sir.

Its been proven that people who download and share music BUY more music than people who dont. Pirates give it back, normal people dont ;)

piracy is not theft. it is the theoretical loss of hypothetically potential gains.
