Yep - but with only 2 years to fight Bush they haven't even begun to reverse the damage he caused. He had 6 years with a republican controlled congress, and no opposition to his policies.
It will take ANYONE, democrat or republican, 10+ years to undo the damage from his rampant profiteering.

Libs always want to talk about the crash, never about the driver - it was the Socialist "give everyone a mortgage whether they can pay it or not" policies of the left that got us into this mess. If we don't wake up, trying to repair Socialism with even more Socialism will create a disaster that will take decades to fix. Europe was first to go down that road, they're just now beginning to admit what a mistake it was - how much $ down a rat-hole will it take before we see the truth?

but it feels necessary to point out anyway, Bush and many other men in power are not representing the people!! they get elected throught empty promises and propaganda but their only motivation is making money for themselves and their buddies! Nothing to do with recovery of the nation or ensuring the well being of all, any positive outcomes of the Bush administration would've been either to keep the people from kicking him out of the white house (because we do still have this power remeber? we put them there to look after us and if they don't we have the RIGHT and the DUTY to remove them)or involuntarily.
Try and remeber that, Bush did not loose 5 mins sleep over all the people who have been left without health insurance or benefits through his shameless profiteering. and stop using the word 'Socialism' like it's an evil of the world, you have been trained to think like that and it makes you sound like an idiot
