Average number of days you work just to pay for that big mooching freeloading uncle named Sam, 107.

Do you think spying on its citizens and the whole world comes cheap?

How well do you know this guy Sam, anyway? Everyone else is corrected if they don't just call him obama.

Women didn't like being housewives. Now there are twice as many workers, so the can be paid half.

Very poor economics.

Oh, sure, blame it on the women, since that's what men are good at. It had nothing to do with the fact that rising costs of raising families increased so much that being a housewife is now considered a luxury. Or the fact that most families who only have one income are generally making wages that are considered at the poverty level. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but on the whole, that's it in a nutshell.

It's NEVER the woman's fault. blah blah blah blah blah... own it... oh, the commenter name is Trollolol... does that mean anything to you?

Maybe it all comes down to overpopulation. There's more bidders, so the price goes up. there's more takers, so the wages go down. Too many children born, not enough resources. Less children born, not enough workers. It's unavoidable in an economic model dependent on indefinite growth. 'progress' should be a process, not the endgoal.

Right now in Saudi, women protest cuz the custom is they don't drive a car. They have a CHAUFFEUR and complain. They never stop whining.

Do you see how it is under Barack Obama? If we had a Palin/McCain Presidency, we'd have no minimum wage, no taxes and peace in our God-fearing, Christian, Constitution-loving, Mexican-free country!

$1.41 for bread? It must be that generic, no-name loaf of dough at WallyWorld.

Well you are working for your own half gallon of milk, you are also working for several half gallon of milk for bureaucrats, politicians, unemployeds, retirees, prisoners, community organizers and other moochers. Keep up the good work.

The point is to get an education or develop a job skill because working for minimum wage sucks. And if you haven't figured that out by now then perhaps you really do deserve a minimum wage job.
