I wonder if the Grimm Reaper is aware of the code for GFCI Outlets in the bathroom. Most likely, the guy in the tub feels almost nothing and goes about his business

I instantly had the same thought. Although recently shopping for forclosed homes I had seen quite a few houses for sale that did not have GFCI receptacles or breakers.

I live in a house built in 1947. There are no ground fault outlets in our bathroom. But that's okay because you can just turn the power outlet off by turning off the light switch in the hallway.
