Don't be angry, he gave away a job to someone better, to someone who doesn't even think about that stuff, someone who gets high every day.

I see you found your words.
Theologicianiser (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyAnd if you add all the letters up in this article, replacing the letter u with the letter V as it was in Roman times then you get... er.... wait... some sort of number.
Asking? (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyOK. Who wrote 666 on a piece of paper and gave it to the Pope?
Gravdigr (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyWhat an idiot. And wtf do they mean "He could not believe it had happened again."?
Skallagrim (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyThis guy suffers from hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia (fear of the number 666). Plus of course he is a religious nut, a condition that is much more serious and more difficult to treat, as it`s closely correlated to good old stupidity and closemindedness. Poor bastard.
Davy Jones is dead (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyTake the last train to Clarkesville, and I'll meet you at the station. Don't be late.
Salzigtal (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplySilly mono-literate, everybody knows that, back when those stories were fabricated, the mark of the beast was DCLXVI.
Skallagrim (Tuesday, 12 Feb 2013)
As usual, what "everybody knows" turns out to be doubtful. The oldest Greek manuscripts of the Book Of Revelation calculates (by gematria, the numerical values of letters) the Number of the Beast to 616 (not 614, mr. Devil), so if they were to write it out in Latin (which they didn`t) it would have been DCXVI. In Hebrew I`ve been told that gematria might result in either 616 or 666, depending on the transliteration. I suspect that 666 just seemed cooler and easier to remember, also in Roman numerals for that matter; you just use one each of the first six numerals. D (500) + C (100) + L (50) + X (10) + V (5) +I (1) = DCLXVI (666).
Christy (Monday, 11 Feb 2013) ReplyThe word "retard" doesn't even begin to describe this douche.
True Story (Tuesday, 12 Feb 2013) ReplyI have a tattoo which reads " √ 443556" (meaning 666).
Reality (Wednesday, 13 Feb 2013) ReplyFrigging superstitious idiots...
Salzigtal (Friday, 15 Feb 2013) Reply@ Skallagrim & EatLiverites: Thanks for the Greek & Hebrew versions of this punch-line. Anybody know of any other translations?
